Dipping / Dripping
When users dip their atomizer into liquid nicotine, or drip nicotine over their atomizer before use.
Dry smoking
Using your e-cig when the atomizer has been filled with liquid nicotine therefore will not emit vapor.

Electronic Cigar
A cigar version the electronic cigarette.
Electronic Cigarette / Tobaccoless Cigarette / E-Cigarette / E-CIG / Vaporizer
A cigarette which contains an atomizer. This atomizer vaporizes the liquid nicotine when a user vapes, the vapor is then inhaled by the user.
Flooding
When the atomizer floods the liquid nicotine may leak.
LED
(Light-emitting diode) The light found at the tip of an electronic cigarettes. The light will shine when the user is vaping, and will start to flash once the battery is getting low.
MOD
(Modified) When a customer experiments with the tobaccoless cigarette structure so that it emits more nicotine vapor.
MOUTHPIECE
Found at the end of the electronic cigarette (on the e-tip). Where the vaper places their mouth to use the electronic cigarette. The e-cig equivalent to a cig butt!
Propylene Glycol
A common ingredient of most e-cig / e-liquid / e-juice brands. It is a colourless and safe liquid. Some brands use Vegetable Glycerine which is sweeter in taste.

A starter pack containing everything a user needs to begin using tobaccoless cigarettes / vaporizers e.g. batteries, charger & refills / e-liquids.
Throat Kick / Hit
The feeling a vaper experiences in their throat when smoking an e-cig. Usually measured in strength, taste and pleasure.
Topping Off
When a vaper adds more liquid nicotine to an e-Tip or e-liquid / e-juice.
Wick
Tiny slice of material holding the liquid in the e-Tip / cartomizer / atomizer.

Comes from the word ‘vapor’. To smoke a tobaccoless cig or vaporizer.

Describes the action of ‘smoking’ an e-cigarette / vaporizer.
Vegetable glycerine
A common ingredient of most e-cig / e-liquid / e-juice brands. It is a colorless, odorless, syrupy, sweet liquid, widely used for sweetening and preserving food, in the manufacture of medicine in suppositories and skin emollients.
